Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)

Cone beam computed tomography is a medical imaging technique. It consists of X-ray computed tomography where the X-rays are divergent, forming a cone. CBCT has become increasingly important in treatment planning and diagnosis in implant dentistry, ENT, orthopedics, and interventional radiology, among other things. With this technology, we can see images in all three dimensions for a clear understanding of a patient’s needs. CAD/CAM dentistry is a field of dentistry and prosthodontics using CAD/CAM technologies. This technology improves the design and creation of dental restorations, especially dental prostheses, including crowns, crown lays, dental veneers, inlays and onlays, fixed bridges, dental implant restorations, dentures, dental implant surgical guides, and orthodontic appliances. The result is dental restorations and prostheses that look more natural and comfortably fit the patient.

Carbon Dioxide Laser
Although the carbon dioxide laser was one of the first developed gas lasers, it is still very useful for dental procedures. As the highest-power continuous wave lasers available, carbon dioxide lasers are often used in soft-tissue procedures in place of a scalpel. Procedures can be performed quickly, often without the need for an anesthetic or sutures.
This laser allows us to simplify dental procedures and allow for better results and healing. Since the laser sterilizes and closes wounds during treatment, patients experience less bleeding and swelling. The recovery period is faster than with traditional invasive oral surgeries.
